If there was ever an androgynous character on a show, it's Edward from Cowboy Bebop. No one knew if she (yes she) was a boy or a girl for almost the entire run of the show. It wasn't until the Cowboy Bebop movie that Edward reveals "Edwards not a little boy... Edwards a little Girl!" If that's not crazy enough, she's also well over 80 years old. Well there's no mistaking Liz Kats for anything but pure woman. A sexy big breasted and happy-to-show-them-off kind of girl, so it's a little easier to figure out what gender this version of Edward is, and might we add, this is a way more enjoyable version of the character... from a purely visual point of view.
